The Reconstructionist Movement: Intellectual Origins and
Organizational Structure
The name Reconstructionist was coined in the first half of the 20th century to describe an approach to understanding and living a Jewish life that dates back to the sixth century B.C.E. Jeremiah illustrated this approach as he confronted the challenges of early Israel. Read more
